As part of his, Pace Project at school, Yogi had to research a famous person in American history, write and memorize a speech on the person of his choosing. He decided to use George Washington for his project. Might I say he did fabulous on the project!!! The final part was a Wax Museum. He and his classmates had to dress up as the person they chose and when the "push" button was pushed, by parents and other students in the school, they had to deliver a shorter version of the speech. He was a little nervous, but all in all he rocked it!! Here are the pics from that day :-)
Yogi Had two parties this year for his b-day! Here are some of the pics from both of them, 11 years old already!!

Yogi had his first Violin performance on Friday, he was so nervous!
He waited until the week before the performance to tell me, "Mom, my performance is next week and I don't know my part." So we sat down together a few times and figured out a few things that might help him be able to remember the notes and hand placements.
The performance came around and what do ya know, he did great! He messed up a couple times, but he is the only one who noticed. I am so very proud of him!! I hope he decides to play next year!!
We had our first annual "Christmas Caroling" gathering tonight!! It was a hit, can't wait til' next year!!

We did a gift exchange and went to see Christmas lights with my Aunt and Uncle tonight because they are gonna be gone for Christmas. She bought the boys something that was gonna be a big hint for something that we had at home under the tree, so they had to wait to open the gift from her! Not happy campers, but they will be Christmas morning!!

The boys and went to "Breakfast With Santa" at their school. We listened to the Honor Choir sing, had some breakfast, pic's with Santa and then the boys did some shopping in The Santa Store. All in all a fun time!
Frosty The Snowman....
Santa had a genuine beard, lol. I think they could have done a little better in picking him, huh? If you look at the two different pictures you will notice how relaxed Yogi is, his arm around Santa's neck. Zion on the other hand, with his hand in his pocket thinking, "don't touch me", so funny!!
